Richmond CPA Founder and Managing PartnerShaun Richmond of Richmond CPA is the firm’s Managing Partner and Founder. Shaun boasts a background in corporate finance and accounting in the education, construction, and healthcare sectors. He is proud to bring his experience in audit, financial planning, reporting, system implementations, and management accounting to his clients, who range from individuals and local small businesses to large national corporations.
Shaun is an entrepreneur who is passionate about helping people achieve their financial and professional goals. Whether you’re a business client wishing to maximize shareholder value by improving capital efficiency or an individual in need of advice for tax planning, Shaun is here to provide expert guidance.
After graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington with a BBA in Finance, Shaun attained his MBA at Louisiana State University Shreveport. His hobbies include spending time outdoors, cheering for the Cowboys, and playing golf.
James Stith, CPA
Tax ManagerJames Stith is a Certified Public Accountant with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington. Since launching his career in public accounting, James has built a reputation for technical expertise, thoughtful leadership, and a commitment to client service.
He began his career at a local public accounting firm serving a wide range of over 1,000 clients. There, he honed his skills in bookkeeping, tax preparation, and tax planning across a variety of entity types and industries. Over time, his role expanded to include preparation of complex multi-state business returns, high-net-worth individual filings, trust and estate returns, and strategic tax projections.
At Richmond CPA, James brings this well-rounded experience and leadership mindset to serve clients with excellence and care. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and continuing to expand his knowledge of the ever-evolving tax landscape.
Rolando Vargas
Senior AccountantRolando Vargas is a Senior Accountant with extensive public accounting experience serving individuals, businesses, trusts, estates, and multi-state entities. Throughout his career, he has worked on tax compliance, tax planning, entity basis calculations, tax research, and complex engagements, including estate tax returns and consolidated corporate filings.
Rolando is passionate about helping clients navigate complex tax matters while delivering practical, relationship-focused service. He also has experience training and developing staff, improving processes through technology, and supporting clients’ bookkeeping and financial reporting needs. He is bilingual in English and Spanish and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an Accounting Concentration from East Texas Baptist University.
